About this Program
The Construction Technology Certificate Program is designed to provide entry-level skills for a variety of construction trades, including carpentry, masonry, electricity, plumbing, weatherization, and drywall. Upon completion of this program, students will earn their nationally recognized OSHA-10 Construction Safety Certification and will be able to frame walls, ceilings, and floors, install siding and roofing materials, install and finish drywall, utilize proper painting techniques, mix and install concrete and concrete blocks, interpret construction drawings, and install the proper wiring and piping for basic electrical and plumbing systems. This program was developed using the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) training materials and curriculum guidelines.
